Brian Anderson
Brian joins the 
Squared Circle Studio team with over 10 years of Personal Training and Sports Conditioning experience. Brian’s experience includes working in the sports medicine physical therapy field strengthening and rehabilitating athletes as well as conditioning athletes in a variety of sports such as baseball, golf, field hockey, football, hockey and basketball. Brian has helped both high school student and adults strengthen and improve conditioning and performance.  In 2008 Brian worked with professional boxers such as USBA & NABF lightweight title holder Israel "Pito" Cardona and Heavyweight Contender Tony Grano as their strength coach. Brian has also worked with both amateur and professional MMA fighters, setting up workout programs to enhance performance. Brian’s goal is to utilize his rehabilitation experience and his strength and conditioning techniques to help any level athlete improve performance. Brian is currenting completing his Mixed Martial Arts Conditioning Association Certification, and is working on releasing his own collection of MMA & Boxing strength and conditioning DVD’s for the modern athlete.




Cindy Lignar
Cindy has been teaching mixed martial arts cardio fitness classes for many years. Her training experience includes kickboxing, boxing, karate, and other forms of martial arts. She is AFAA Group Exercise Instructor Certified and AFAA Certified Personal Trainer. Cindy is currently studying Jeet Kune Do (JKD) and has earned her first level certification. She is also Les Mills program certified in BodyCombat and BodyFlow.  Cindy’s philosophy is to promote each participant’s fitness conditioning through an aggressive and fun work out that leaves each individual feeling empowered, de-stressed and rejuvenated…and asking for more.  Promoting health and wellness has been a long time goal of Cindy’s, as she has been a registered nurse for many years, working in a variety of clinical settings as a staff nurse and nurse leader. 



Ken Lignar
Ken is a firm believer that physical fitness is an integral part of a healthy lifestyle. He has followed this philosophy throughout his life by participating in a variety of activities: team sports, individual sports, weight training, martial arts and more. Currently, Ken is focusing on boxing, kick boxing, and Jeet Kune Do.
Ken believes that keeping active and fit removes the “I can’t do that” excuse when new challenges or opportunities arise in life. His balanced, yet firm style helps participants acheive their goals by removing excuses and focusing on results. Ken is an AFAA certified personal trainer and enjoys sharing his knowledge with, as well as learning from, people of all skill levels. In his other life, Ken is a research and development engineer at the Lee Company in the R&D department where he has worked for more than 20 years.




Audra McGee

Audra has been a licensed Zumba instructor for two years and has taught classes throughout the shoreline area and Middletown. Zumba is a perfect outlet for Audra's love of dance. She started dancing at age 4 and hasn't stopped! Audra was recently chosen to perfrom at a half time show at the Mohegan Sun.   In addition to her Zumba certification, Audra is also a certified AFAA personal trainer.  In  addition to inspiring people through dance and fitness, Audra is also a first grade teacher. She transfers her love of exercise to her students  and has created  a running club at school. The program is in its 4th year. Audra has a dynamic personality that makes any level dancer feel comfortable and have fun.



Stacy Meisner

Stacy has been teaching and training in the fitness and boxing industry for over 15 years. She has experience training individuals as well as teaching group exercise classes, boxing and kickboxing classes and boot camps. In addition to training with professional boxers, Stacy is an AFAA Certified Kickboxing Instructor and an AFAA Certified Personal Trainer, as well as a Les Mills Certified instructor for BodyCombat and BodyPump. Stacy’s passion is to bring out the best in everyone regardless of ability or fitness level. Her teaching style is positive, approachable and fun as well as aggressive and demanding. In each class, Stacy is a role model educator, motivator and coach.  
       

 

 

Marc Pisciotti
Marc has 22 years experience in the Police Force as an Officer and a Lieutenant.  He has been a Certified Police Instructor since 1999 and currently teaches at the Connecticut Police Academy training Police Cadets and Officers throughout the State. Marc is the Founder & President of the Public Safety Training Foundation, a business primarily dedicated to self defense training, emphasizing “Reality Based Concepts” for everyday people. Marc has previously studied Taekwondo achieving the rank of Red Belt. His classes blend police academy tactics with martial arts styles to provide realistic and effective conditioning and defense.
